About Alsea
Alsea High School is a small yet vibrant school located in the beautiful town of Alsea, Oregon. The school provides an excellent education program for students from grades 9 to 12, with a focus on academic excellence, personal growth, and community involvement. The school offers a range of athletic programs that cater to both boys and girls, including basketball, volleyball, cross country, football, track and field, and cheerleading. The Alsea High School football and basketball programs are particularly noteworthy, with both teams having a strong tradition of success and a passionate fan base. The football program competes in the 1A-8 Coastal Range League and has several notable rivals, including Monroe and Mapleton High Schools. The basketball program is also a force to be reckoned with, competing in the 1A-3 Casco League and regularly challenging for conference championships. Both the football and basketball programs are affiliated with the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA), which oversees high school sports across the state. Alsea High School is proud to be a member of the OSAA and to compete at the highest level of high school athletics in Oregon.
