Central Decatur High School is a wonderful institution located in the peaceful and scenic town of Leon, IA. The school boasts a variety of athletic programs for both boys and girls, including volleyball, cross country, basketball, baseball, softball, track and field, and football. The football and basketball programs are particularly highlighted and are known for their competitive nature and dedication to teamwork. The football program has a long-standing rivalry with Clarke High School, while the basketball team has a strong rivalry with Interstate 35 High School. Both programs are associated with the Iowa High School Athletic Association and have a proud tradition of success and excellence.
