Auburn High School is a great educational institution in Auburn, Alabama that offers a wide range of athletic programs for both girls and boys. The football and basketball programs are particularly popular at Auburn High School. The football team, known as the Auburn Tigers, has a fierce rivalry with the Opelika Bulldogs. The basketball program, known as the Auburn Tigers as well, has also had success in recent years. Auburn High School is a member of the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA), which oversees high school sports throughout the state. Through the AHSAA, Auburn High School competes in division 7A, which is the highest classification for football in Alabama. Overall, Auburn High School provides a well-rounded educational experience for its students with a variety of athletic programs to choose from.
