About Oconee County
Oconee County High School is a great place for students who are passionate about athletics. The school offers a variety of sports programs for both boys and girls, including football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, cross-country, swimming, golf, volleyball, and track and field. The football program at Oconee County High School has a storied history, with a long-standing rivalry against Clarke Central High School. The basketball program is also highly competitive, playing in Region 8-AAAA and regularly competing for state championships. Oconee County High School is a member of the Georgia High School Association, which oversees all high school athletic programs in the state. Students at Oconee County High School have the opportunity to develop their athletic skills and compete against some of the best teams in the region and state.
