Riverwood High School is a wonderful educational institution located in Sandy Springs, GA. The school boasts a long list of athletic programs for both girls and boys, including baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. The football and basketball programs are especially noteworthy, with a passionate fan base and intense rivalries with other schools in the area. Riverwood High School is a proud member of the Georgia High School Association, which oversees all high school sports in the state. The football and basketball teams compete in the Association's highest classification, and have achieved considerable success over the years.
