Taylor Allderdice High School is a vibrant and diverse learning community located in the heart of Pittsburgh, PA. The school boasts a proud tradition of athletics and offers a wide range of sports programs for both girls and boys. The girls' sports teams include basketball, cross country, field hockey, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. The football and basketball programs at Taylor Allderdice High School are particularly noteworthy. The football team has a long-standing rivalry with neighboring school Westinghouse High School, and both teams compete in the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL). The basketball program has a rich history of success, with both the boys' and girls' teams regularly competing at the state level. The boys' team has a heated rivalry with nearby school Schenley High School, and both teams are members of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA).
